From a small family company, founded in 1997; they started by growing grapes for other people and began making wine themselves in 2005. They have 13 ha planted with a range of vine varieties and are passionate about using traditional vinification methods, always aiming for top-quality wines.

Vineyard: Rich, minerally glacial soil (clay/sand)
Fermentation: Traditional fermentation on the skins
Maturation: 30-36 months in various-sized French (Allier) oak barrels
Appearance: garnet red
Nose: notes of liquorice, violet and spices
Palate: velvety tannins, flavours of blood-orange, violet, sour cherry; elegant, long finish. Decant an hour before drinking to let it open up fully. Ages well (10+ years).
A good match for wild boar, venison, artichokes and other strongly-flavoured dishes.
