Made from 100% Montepulciano, the grape linked to the territory by centuries of history, grown on gentle slopes at 150 m above sea level. Harvested at the beginning of October, the must is fermented on the skins for 10-15 days. After gentle pressing, the wine ages for 2 years in 25 hl oak barrels before being lightly filtered and bottled.

ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE
Appearance: Very concentrated and consistent garnet red.
Nose: Aromas of small red fruit and flowers, geranium, followed by spices, black pepper and cloves, vanilla and liquorice root.
Palate: An intense, structured wine with defined tannins. The finish is long and gives breadth to the taste
Food pairing: Best appreciated with red meat, stews, grilled pork or grilled lamb chops.
Serving temperature: 16-18º C.
The bottle may contain residue, a sign of the naturalness of the wine. Open the bottle at least an hour before drinking to oxygenate the wine and taste it at its best.
