Made from pure Barbera grapes grown in south-west facing vineyards on medium-textured soil and harvested late in September. They undergo a short fermentation, followed by maturation in stainless steel tanks and four months bottle-ageing. These and other techniques help ensure that the wine has a very low histamine level, making it ideal for people who suffer from migraines, digestive issues, hives, sleep problems.
