Celli Brut Nature 2018


A sparkling wine with very low sugar levels (less than 3 gr/ltr) that is particularly intriguing paired with raw seafood, the Celli Brut Nature is a blend of Chardonnay and Trebbiano, both picked early to retain their fresh fruit character.

It is made by the Charmat method, for drinking young, and its light fresh style has instant appeal.

 Area of production: Bertinoro, Romagna

Vineyard exposure: cool, northerly aspect to retain fresh fruit character

 Altitude: 300 metres above sea level

Harvest period: Chardonnay picked the 2nd week of August, Trebbiano the 3rd week in September

Vinification: gentle pressing, free-run juice vinified with selected yeasts; second fermentation using Charmat Method

Maturation: 8 months on the lees

Alcohol content: 11.8% abv

Residual sugar: 2.8 g/l


Appearance: straw yellow with greenish glints

Nose: floral, with toasty notes

Palate: dry, soft bubbles, supple and persistent

Food pairings: Oysters, shellfish, finger-food or as an aperitif.

Serving temperature: 6 - 8°C
