The Motta family moved to Tuscany from Milan in 1987. Their farm, La Tartaruga, is situated on the Argenteria hills, 10 km south of Grosseto, and their vineyards are managed using environmentally friendly methods.The sandy-loam soil, west-facing hill vineyards, unique microclimate and huge personal involvement create wines of distinction.

Food pairing: vegetable soups, pasta dishes, red meat, game and mature cheeses.
