Vinification: The grapes are manually-harvested in October and macerated 10-12 days on the skins with daily pumping-over before a full malolactic fermentation.
Ageing: 18 months in large (27 hl.) oak barrels, followed by 3 months in bottle.
Alcohol content: 13.5% abv
Appearance: Deep ruby-red colour.
Nose: Complex on the nose, with aromas of black cherry, raspberry and violet.
Palate: On the palate rich and flavourful with mild tannins, well balanced.
Food pairing: Vegetarian dishes, pasta, risotto, white meat, roast lamb.
Serving temperature: 14 - 16 °C
